Section 7.12 Contributions Plan

Development contributions are payments made under section 7.12 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 to help fund public infrastructure required as a consequence of development. Contributions may be monetary, land dedication, or works‑in‑kind. This plan authorises Warren Shire Council to levy Section 7.12 fixed development consent levies.

 The Regulations make provision for or with respect to levies, including:

  • the means by which the proposed cost of carrying out development is to be estimated or determined, and
  • the maximum percentage of a levy.
