Planning for Future Generations

As part of Council's ongoing commitment to serving the community, planning is underway to ensure Warren Lawn Cemetery continues to meet future needs.

The proposed cemetery expansion has been carefully designed to provide additional burial capacity while maintaining the peaceful character and natural landscape of the cemetery.

This investment will  help ensure the community has access to a respectful place of remembrance for many years to come.

Family Burial Plots

Families often wish to secure a shared resting place for the future. New family burial plots are now available at Warren Lawn Cemetery.

Thoughtfully designed around landscaped memorial gardens, each family burial plot brings together multiple individual burial plots to create a dedicated place where loved ones can be laid to rest together.

Depending on the selected design, each family burial plot can accommodate approximately 16–24 family members.

Each individual burial plot can accommodate:

  • Up to two casket burials
  • One ashes burial

Family burial plots are available for pre-planning or immediate needs.

Warren Lawn Cemetery is the Shire's principal cemetery, located alongside the historic Warren Old Cemetery. It features lawn burial areas, family burial plots and ongoing expansion to meet the future needs of the community.
