Information for the Warren Shire Community regarding Warren Shire Council’s business operations with the Public Health (Covid-19 General) Order (No 2) 2021.

WARREN SHIRE OFFICE

Council's Administration Office, 115 Dubbo Street is open for face-to-face contact from Wednesday 15th December 2021 at 8.30am with no limitations. Customers may wear face masks if they wish.  

 

WARREN SERVICE NSW AGENCY

The Service NSW Agency is open for face-to-face contact from Wednesday 15th December 2021 at 8.30am with no limitations. Customers may wear face masks if they wish.  

 

Driver Test customers must wear a face mask in the vehicle.  


WARREN SHIRE LIBRARY

Warren Library is open for face-to-face contact from Wednesday 15th December 2021 at 10.00am with no limitations. Customers may wear face masks if they wish.  

 

WARREN SPORTING & CULTURAL CENTRE

Warren Sporting and Cultural Centre is open for face-to-face contact from Wednesday 15th December 2021 at 6.00am with no limitations. Customers may wear face masks if they wish.  

 

However, those using the gym facilities must use the QR code check in/out. The rules of cleaning equipment after use must be adhered to.

 

WARREN SHOWGROUND/RACECOURSE

The Warren Showground/Racecourse Complex is open for face-to-face contact from Wednesday 15th December 2021 at 12.01 am with no limitations. Customers may wear face masks if they wish.  

 

WARREN SHIRE DEPOT

Warren Shire Depot is open for face-to-face contact from Wednesday 15th December 2021 at 6.15 am with no limitations. Customers may wear face masks if they wish.  

 

PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT WITHIN OUR PARKS AND GARDENS

All our Parks are open, and community sport has resumed with no limitations.

 

WARREN SKATE PARK AND WARREN SPLASH PARK

The Warren Skate Park and Warren Splash Park are open with no limitations.

 

WARREN EWENMAR WASTE DEPOT 

Warren Ewenmar Waste Depot is open with no limitations.

 

WARREN GARBAGE PICK UP OPERATING AS USUAL


 
 

WARREN PUBLIC AMENITIES (PUBLIC TOILETS) 

Open as usual.

 

CEMETERIES 

Open as usual.  Any rules provided by the organiser of a funeral or service must be adhered to.

 

WARREN WAR MEMORIAL SWIMMING POOL 

Warren War Memorial Swimming Pool open for face-to-face contact from Wednesday 15th December 2021 at 10.00am with no limitations. Customers may wear face masks if they wish.  

 

COUNCIL MEETING 

Council Meetings will be held in person in the Council Community Room, 115 Dubbo Street, Warren with no limitations.

 

VACATION CARE 

Vacation Care at the Warren Sporting and Cultural Centre is hoped to be programmed for early January 2022 with no limitations.

 

All families will be required to contact the Health and Development Services Vacation Care Team on 0427 215 086 for bookings of your children(s).

 

Final arrangements will be advertised later in 2021.

Council’s staff are available to answer your calls between 8.30 am – 5.00 pm weekdays. 

 

Council’s phone will be diverted to an on-call officer after normal office hours and weekends and public holidays.  In the case of emergencies, please call 000.

Covid Testing at the Warren Multi Purpose Health Service will be by a booked appointment with time being 2.00pm, Monday Wednesday and Friday.  Please telephone ahead on 02 6847 5400 for an appointment or booking inquiries (bookings are limited).

 Please obey all road signs and speed limits.  

Heavy vehicles and large motor vehicles will need to park away from the hospital and walk to the hospital and follow signage. There is no room for heavy and large vehicles to turn around on the hospital grounds.
