Stay at Home Order for Warren Shire Council - Services update 12 Aug 2021 - Post Image

From 7pm on Wednesday 11 August Warren Shire and 7 of our neighbouring local government areas including Bogan, Bourke, Brewarrina, Coonamble, Gilgandra, Narromine and Walgett have been placed under NSW Health’s Stay at Home Orders until Thursday 19 August.

Following updated health advice, Stay at Home Orders will apply to all people who live in these areas in Western NSW or have been there on or after 5 August 2021.

This means everyone in these areas must stay at home unless you have a reasonable excuse to leave. Reasonable excuses include:

  • For work or education if this can’t be done from home
  • To obtain food or other goods and services for yourself or vulnerable people
  • Exercising outdoors
  • To provide care or for compassionate reasons
  • For medical reasons including COVID-19 testing or to have your COVID-19 vaccination

For a complete list of reasonable excuses to leave home please view nsw.gov.au/covid-19/rules/affected-regions#reasonable-excuse-to-leave-home
