Recent Works
Flood Emergency Works: Gradgery Lane, Lauriston Road, Yarrendale Road, Pigeonbah Road, Greentree Road, Buddabadah Road, Killaloo Lane Gibson Way and Johnsons Road
Patching: Carinda Road, Wambianna Road, Warren Road, Old Warren Road, Marthaguy Road and Oxley Highway.
Sealing: Nevertire Streets.
Slashing: Oxley Highway, Rifle Range Road, Udora Road and Industrial Access Road.
Road Maintenance and Construction Schedule
Upcoming maintenance and rehabilitation works include:
- Elsinore Road, Bundemar Road, Old Warren Road, Collie-Trangie Road, Christies Lane, Merrigal Road, Notts Lane, Sullivans Road and Colane Road.
Capital Works in Progress
- Bitumen reseals of Segment 62 of Carinda Road and Segments 2 and 4 of Collie – Trangie Road under the Regional Roads Rehabilitation project.
- Flood damage works.
- Construction of Segment 30 of Old Warren Road is ongoing, funded by variations of Fixing Local Roads Round 3 funding after cost savings.
- Investigation and design work for CBD Improvement Program.
- Warren Road reconstruction, including new culverts, widening of the road, and pavement rehabilitation. Culverts have been ordered and the contact for culvert installation has been approved.
- Rehabilitation of Segment 18 of Collie-Trangie Road funded by the REPAIR Program 2022/2023.
- Gravel re-sheeting of Old Warren Road is ongoing.
- Reseals of local roads and town streets has been completed.
- Replacement of Newe Park Bridge and Marthaguy Creek Bridge under the Bridges Renewal Program and the NSW Government’s Fixing Country Roads Grant.
