  • Schedule: 🕘 Daytime works – 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM 📅 Monday 7 July to Wednesday 9 July

  • No detours – traffic control and signage will be in place.

Thanks for your understanding!

As part of its ongoing commitment to providing safe and reliable road infrastructure for Warren Shire residents, Warren Shire Council will begin essential night road rehabilitation works at two important locations:

  • Warren Roundabout: Monday, 23 June to Wednesday, 25 June 2024

  • Oxley Highway Rail Level Crossing: Saturday, 5 July to Tuesday, 8 July 2024

Work will be carried out overnight between 6:00 pm and 5:00 pm to minimise disruption to daytime traffic and local businesses.

These projects involve asphalt rehabilitation designed to enhance road safety, improve durability and ensure a smoother driving experience for all road users.

During the works:

  • Detours will be in place around the Warren Roundabout.

  • At both sites, signage and traffic control will be used to manage traffic safely.

Motorists are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly, follow all road work signage and allow extra time where necessary. For detailed information on detours and traffic management plans, please visit Council’s website: https://www.warren.nsw.gov.au/residents/road-condition-report

Council’s Mayor, Greg Whiteley, said the night works reflect Council’s continued focus on road safety and community convenience.

“We’ve got a great team working behind the scenes to keep our roads safe and in good shape. Doing this work at night means less disruption for everyone during the day.”

“Thanks to our crews and the community for their patience while we get it done,” he added.
