New roadworks are now taking place on the Oxley Highway at Milawa, approximately 23km east of Warren.

This project encompasses the entire length of Segment 250 (3.65km long), and will aim to rehabilitate the deteriorating road pavement and widen the sealed pavement.

As part of the Resealing Program 2023-2024 on the Oxley Highway and Burton Street, bituminous spray sealing is also underway from Nevertire, to Warren Town and then on to Collie.

In addition, works have commenced for the upgrade, widening and rehabilitation of approximately 8km of the Nevertire-Bogan Road (Shire Road 58). The works will begin 4km south of Nevertire, with the aim of improving safety and reducing road maintenance costs.

On behalf of Council and the wider community, I extend my appreciation to Fulton Hogan, who recently donated the rubberised bitumen reseal on the parking area beside the Laurie Elder Walk near the Warren Golf Club.

This generous donation has been valued at over $25,000.

A reminder that the NSW Local Government elections will take place on Saturday 14 September 2024.

You can visit the NSW Electoral Commission website to get more information about your voting options, and check your enrolment details.
